In 1890, however, the De Laune Institute is clearly listed at No 22 New
Street, and it is also named in the Commercial Section.

I note that the De Laune Club website mentions a trip by 'members' in 1888.
I assume this was an informal group of people who shared an interest in
cycling, and joined the Institute the next year.
