Little is known of Richard who received the Freedom of Cork ‘Granted by
special grace.’ Both Lesley and I found reference to him, myself in ‘Huguenot
Settlements in Ireland’ on the web. Richard died in Charleville Co Cork

Seems the Delaunes’ had even more connections with the influential Boyle
family, for:-

Michael was educated at Trinity College, Dublin (1661) after attending Dean
Boyle’s school in Kinsale. He graduated in the Spring of 1664 with a BA. In
1668 he was ordained and appointed Preceptor of Ferns and Rector of
Enniscorthy. He is buried in St Patrick’s Cathedral Dublin.
