The following notes are purely a précis of discussions at the May Committee meeting and are intended to keep all members informed of what is happening on committee and how the club is being run. Although a request had been published in the DLN for a volunteer for a new Club Secretary no nominations had been received. After much discussion at the meeting Jeremy White volunteered his services. He did say that Monday was not an ideal day for him, however he was still prepared to re-organise his other commitement. Malc Adams Newnham ride/walk. Arrangements for a ride around the th lanes of Newnham on 24 August. It was hoped to offer a walk for the non riders if a leader could be found for this activity, finishing off with a ploughmans lunch at The George. Minimum order for 10 bib shorts from Giordana in the style of Bioracer kit has been placed – the stock will be held by Tony Peachey. An order for additional Bioracer kit is soon to arrive stock to be held by Christian Rudolf. Christian will also be dealing with the track suit top order. Important note for those competing for the various championships - the cut off date fixed for claims for all club championships/trophies – – this will ensure there is sufficient time to organise medal and trophy engraving in time for Belgium night. Alan Rowe is your man to contact in this respect. On the money front – David Haggart reported there were just 7 members’ subs outstanding – if you are one of those David would be pleased to hear from you. Some of the money from the Memorial Trust Fund interest this year has been used to assist the Herne Hill Velodrome Trust to further the improvements at the track. 10
