The campsite is ideally located for those who seek mobility during the Grand Départ weekend, as the campsite is just 4 miles from the nearest point of Stage 1 proceedings, and only ½ mile from Stage 2 proceedings (within viewing distance). Unlike other campsites, the roads within the village of Steeton will remain open throughout the weekend for those wishing to follow the Tour after it has passed, or those wanting to explore the local area.
