Kennington Well we’re coming into autumn now.
       SE17 3SX I sadly can’t claim to have been
020 7735 9605 on my bike much in the last month
or so. I managed to ride to work
CHAIRMAN and back once last week, which
ROY SAVERY was a little more than the previous three. Must do
01959 777455 better. Gary’s parents have been over from Malaysia
so it made most sense for me to move out
SECRETARY temporarily due to lack of space, and it wasn’t
JEREMY WHITE practical to take the bike with me.

TREASURER It was their first time in Europe and we took them
VAL PEACHEY to Venice and Paris, which were both really lovely.
63 Beverley Road Gary spent the time translating as I speak no
Chinese and they spoke no English either. Still, there
Barming was lots of happy nodding and they are keen to come
Maidstone back again. It’s great to have a Chinese speaker
Kent ME16 9DU around, he was able to overhear a tourist at the
01622 727649 Eiffel Tower say “I’ve got a keyring that looks just like
that”, and at the Sacre-Coeur Basilica another one
MEMBERSHIP said “What a lovely mosque!”

On the way back on the Eurostar I turned my Strava
on and covered over 100km in 22 minutes, averaging

                                                           over
