Just a short note to let you know that at the AGM and lunch of the Pedal
Club in London yesterday (13th Jan) our Secretary Jeremy White was elected
as their Secretary.

Both Jeremy and myself are the only De Laune members.

I usually receive the DLN via post although if it helps I'm happy to have it
emailed my new email is jk.obrien@yahoo.com. My virgin account will be closing
soon. Also we have moved house last week the new address is 15 Newton Rise
Swanage Dorset BH19 2QP. Hope alls well I have in the past bumped in to
Bert Wason who lives nearby in Wareham. I'm still riding for Bournemouth
Jubilee Wheelers (only 2nd claim delaune as it makes it easy to ride club
events down here) and for the last year have been racing a trike for a bit of
fun. Also my date of birth is the 6th May although DLN as had me printed
as having a birthday in January .

This month It did not look like I would have much copy for the DLN so I started

searching the WEB for mention of any past or present members, however we

have another member that looks for any thing to

do with the De Laune and found this

medal on e-bay. (now in my Possession)

joined the De Laune in July
1938, 1939 he was in the Club’s C team that came
5th in the SCCU cross country team even we had
4 teams of 6 in the event. He also rode in the 34th
Nomads Open 25 returning a time of 1:14:43.
