Only a small issue this month I was hoping for a report from our man in OZ
on the Tour Down Under, it may arrive for next month or is the journey getting
to much. The calculated flying distance from Brisbane to Adelaide is equal
to 995 miles which is equal to 1601 km. If you want to go by car, the driving
distance between Brisbane and Adelaide is 2017.59 km. If you ride your car
with an average speed of 112 kilometers/hour (70 miles/h), travel time will be
       18 hours 00 minutes.

        Call for marshals

De Laune is co-promoting a SERRL event on Sunday March 26 at 10am
at the Biddenden course in Kent. Race HQ is Bethesden Village Hall.

As co-promoter with Medway Velo, we have offered to provide 8 marshals
on the day. It will be an early start as the team will need to be on-site
before 8am, but we can organise a lift down from London if needed.

If De Laune is to survive as an active club it's vital we remain affiliated
to regional race leagues to ensure that we can continue to attract members.
        Your support is appreciated!

to all those who came along, and I look forward to discussing this in the
run-up to the AGM in April. I’m delighted to say we have located the Ken Hill
plaque on a piece of the original wooden track (it was in Jon Archdeacon’s
attic all along, since the old grandstand closed in 2005). The Trust have
said they’ll be delighted to put this on the wall in the new pavilion.

Also on the new pavilion, here’s a note for your diaries to keep the weekend
of June 24/25 th free, for their grand opening celebrations. I’m told it’s not
       to be missed!
