Club Members celebrating birthdays in July

An order has now been placed and now received for 5 years'
worth of club badges ready for placing on medals at the end of the
year.

I am expecting further outlay to be required for the purchase
of additional Bioracer kit in the near future – an order valued at
£3,800 has been placed of which £2k has already been sent as
deposit.

Jayne and David successfully promoted the Open 10 on 30th May
which attracted 78 riders. Thankfully the weather was kind to
everyone. Of the £100 agreed subsidy to each of the open events
Jayne managed to spend £56.35. All income from the tea bar
was donated to the Kent Air Ambulance. Full result elsewhere in
these pages.

Summer Lunch – 29 members, families and friends enjoyed a
pleasant Sunday Lunch at Park Wood Golf Club, in Tatsfield,
organised by Roy Savery. This was a completely self funding
event – well worth the money. I will leave Roy to report in greater
depth elsewhere in the DLN.
